Election Integrity and Digital Democracy Lead
Saeed M Osman is the Build Up election operation specialist. He assists election management bodies in conducting electoral operations such as election operations, voter registration, awareness-raising, polling procedures; election technology, security, and post-election activities.
Saeed brings 10 years of experience in the fields of elections, democracy, and governance, specialising in providing technical assistance and advisory roles with election stakeholders, including election management bodies, government bodies, civil society, donors, and election observer missions. Before joining Build Up, he served as the director of operations for the Somaliland National Electoral Commission and as the human resources consultant for the Interpeace/Transitional Puntland Election Commission.
Saeed holds a Master’s in Electoral Policy & Administration from the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies – Pisa, Italy-in collaboration with International IDEA and UNITAR and a Bachelor of Human Resource Management from Kampala International University – Uganda. He is an ardent peace-builder who desires to see peaceful and sustainable elections. He enjoys promoting peace and democracy through elections.
