Arts & Personhood Lead
Rita’s fields of interest comprise transformative politics, local community building, youth empowerment, and peacebuilding through technology. Since June 2020, she has collaborated with Build Up on the design and facilitation of the Maskani Commons project, which accompanies students from six universities in Western Kenya as they develop and apply digital peacebuilding skills on social media. Barcelona is home to her. She graduated from a degree in Politics and Law from University College Utrecht. She loves dancing, reading, traveling with her younger sisters, and listening to people’s stories.
