Anooj is a community organizer and artist, focusing his work on the community-based transformation of harm, as an alternative to prisons and policing. He leads the anti-racism arm of The Commons project at Build Up, working to more deeply understand and take action on digital divides around race in the United States.
Anooj es organizador de comunidades y un artista. Su trabajo se centra en la transformación del daño a nivel comunitario, como alternativa a las prisiones y a la vigilancia policial. Lidera el grupo antirracismo del proyecto The Commons en Build Up, en el que trabaja para entender en profundidad las brechas digitales por cuestiones raciales en Estados Unidos y, así, poder abordarlas.
Annoj est un organisateur communautaire et un artiste, centrant son travail sur la transformation communautaire des préjudices en tant qu’alternatives à la prison et à la surveillance. Il dirige le volet anti-racisme du projet The Commons à Buildup, cherchant à comprendre et agir plus avant sur les divisions numériques autour de questions de race aux Etats-Unis.
أنوج هو مُنظّمٌ مُجتمعي وفنّان، يركّز عمله على تحويل الأذى والضّرر بالارتكاز إلى المجتمع كبديلٍ عن السجون وفرض الرقابة. يقود أنوج ذراع مناهضة العنصرية في “مشروع المشاعات العامة” في “بيلد آب”، ويسعى إلى تحصيل فهمٍ أعمق والتحرّك بشأن الانقسامات الرقمية حول العرق في الولايات المتحدة الأميركية
