Digital Researcher
At Build Up, Krystel supports research and peace innovation programming, particularly in the areas of mentorship, data analysis, and development. Krystel is an intersectional feminist. She is a translator, researcher, and public policy consultant. She is most experienced in conflict resolution, conflict analysis, civil society development, mainstreaming gender, and community mobilization. Being from Lebanon, a post-conflict and in-conflict country, she has worked to transform the violence and aggression she has witnessed as a young girl into a political agenda that can change the way we see power, influence, and development. She co-founded several civil society initiatives in Lebanon and the region, including a feminist cooperative based in Beirut and an international diaspora movement.
