Diana Dajer

Board Chair 2018-2020

Diana is a social entrepreneur working at the intersection of social innovation, citizen engagement and peacebuilding. Over the past decade, she has advised the Colombian Ministry of the Interior’s peace policies, managed projects for Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung’s Rule of Law Programme for Latin America, and conducted research for the Toledo International Centre for Peace. More recently Diana consulted for Purpose, supporting the design and implementation of MOVILIZATORIO, a citizen engagement laboratory that strengthens participation in the Colombian peacebuilding process through the use of digital tools. During her 2016 Build Peace Fellowship, Diana designed and piloted Nuestro Desarrollo, a tech-enabled participatory planning and budgeting game that increases social inclusion, transparency and trust in governmental processes. She subsequently founded and directs Policentrico, a Colombian start up that fosters open government, social innovation, development, democracy and peace through civic technologies and public policies for social change. Diana is a PhD candidate of Socio-Legal Studies at the University of Oxford, a Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship Research for Action Awardee, a member of the Global Peacebuilding Hub Research Board and of the Corlide Advisory Board, and a Colciencias Scholar.
